Corrections and verification

A housing allowance is real money. We do not silently replace an official number, infer a missing year, or treat a renamed installation as a different MHA.

What we verify

Every release is checked for 338 MHA codes, 24 pay grades and both dependency statuses. Historical joins use the MHA code rather than the display name. Source archives are checksummed so a later re-download can be compared byte for byte.

How a correction appears

DTMO reissues are stored as a new source revision with their effective date. The previous record is not rewritten. Site corrections identify the affected field, source and verification date; calculations are regenerated from the corrected fact.

Report a discrepancy

Include the MHA, pay grade, dependency status, displayed amount and the official document you are comparing. The official DTMO release and your servicing finance office remain authoritative while a report is reviewed.
